The SCCY CPX-2 Purple Black Nitride Gen 3 is a 9mm compact built to ride on your belt all day without wearing you out. This one has a purple frame and black nitride slide, a 3.10″ barrel and holds 10 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber. It is small enough for pocket or appendix carry and still big enough to shoot well.

Every CPX-2 is double-action-only and hammer-fired. Each pull of the trigger cocks and drops the hammer, so the pull is long, around 9 pounds, and it is the same every shot. Nothing sits partly cocked, and if a round ever fails to fire you can simply pull the trigger again for a second strike.
There is no manual thumb safety on this one. The long, deliberate trigger pull does that job, the same idea as a double-action revolver, so you just draw and press.
There is a short Picatinny rail up front if you want to add a compact light or laser.
Inside, SCCY uses its Roebuck Quad-Lock barrel system and a polymer frame around an aluminum chassis. The result is a pistol that stays light without feeling flimsy.
