The SCCY CPX-4 RD Purple takes SCCY’s proven CPX-4 design and gives it a purple frame and stainless steel slide. This one has a purple frame and stainless steel slide, a 2.96″ barrel and holds 10 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber. It is small enough for pocket or appendix carry and still big enough to shoot well.

The .380 ACP round is softer shooting than 9mm in a small pistol, so follow-up shots are easier and range days are more fun.
Every CPX-4 is double-action-only and hammer-fired. Each pull of the trigger cocks and drops the hammer, so the pull is long, around 9 pounds, and it is the same every shot. Nothing sits partly cocked, and if a round ever fails to fire you can simply pull the trigger again for a second strike.
This model has a manual thumb safety. Some people want that extra step, especially if they are new to carrying or keep the gun in a bag or vehicle.
It comes from the factory with a Crimson Trace CTS-1500 red dot already mounted. With a dot you focus on the target, put the dot where you want the hit, and press. Most people shoot a dot faster and more accurately once they get used to it, and you skip the hassle of buying and mounting an optic yourself.
Inside, SCCY uses its Roebuck Quad-Lock barrel system and a polymer frame around an aluminum chassis. The result is a pistol that stays light without feeling flimsy.
