Description

If you want a small .380 ACP that will not eat a whole paycheck, the SCCY CPX-3 Purple Stainless No Safety deserves a hard look. This one has a purple frame and stainless steel slide, a 3.10″ barrel and holds 10 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber. It is small enough for pocket or appendix carry and still big enough to shoot well.

Plenty of buyers pick a color like this on purpose. It is personal, easy to spot, and it still runs exactly like the black version.

Why people choose the SCCY CPX-3 Purple Stainless No Safety

The .380 ACP round is softer shooting than 9mm in a small pistol, so follow-up shots are easier and range days are more fun.

Every CPX-3 is double-action-only and hammer-fired. Each pull of the trigger cocks and drops the hammer, so the pull is long, around 9 pounds, and it is the same every shot. Nothing sits partly cocked, and if a round ever fails to fire you can simply pull the trigger again for a second strike.

There is no manual thumb safety on this one. The long, deliberate trigger pull does that job, the same idea as a double-action revolver, so you just draw and press.

Inside, SCCY uses its Roebuck Quad-Lock barrel system and a polymer frame around an aluminum chassis. The result is a pistol that stays light without feeling flimsy.

Who the CPX-3 is for

Who is it for? Mostly people who want a dependable, small .380 ACP without spending big money. New shooters like how simple it is, and experienced carriers often buy one as a backup or a hot-weather gun.

A few tips once it arrives: get a quality holster that fully covers the trigger guard, run a box or two of practice ammo through it before you carry, and try a couple of defensive loads to see what your pistol likes best. Small guns reward practice, and the CPX-3 is no different.

How buying a handgun online works

We do not ship firearms to your door. Every gun ships to a licensed FFL dealer that you pick at checkout. When it arrives, you fill out the federal Form 4473, the dealer runs your background check, and you take it home. You need to be at least 21 to buy a handgun from a dealer.

Some states and cities limit which models or magazine sizes can be sold. Please check your local laws before you order. If we cannot legally ship to your area, we will cancel the order and refund you in full. See our FFL transfer page for the full details.

SCCY CPX-3 Purple Stainless No Safety FAQ

Is the SCCY CPX-3 Purple Stainless No Safety good for concealed carry?

It is one of the easier pistols to carry every day. It is thin, light and short, and it still gives you 11 rounds of .380 ACP.

Does the SCCY CPX-3 Purple Stainless No Safety have a manual safety?

No. This version has no manual thumb safety and relies on its long double-action trigger pull.

Can you ship it to my house?

No. Federal law requires handguns bought online to ship to a licensed FFL dealer. You choose a dealer near you at checkout, they run the background check, and you pick it up there.
