Description
Looking for a .380 ACP carry gun that is easy to hide and easy to afford? The SCCY CPX-3 Orange Stainless checks both boxes. This one has a orange frame and stainless steel slide, a 3.10″ barrel and holds 10 rounds in the magazine plus one in the chamber. It is light, slim and simple to run, which is exactly what most people want from a carry pistol.
A bold frame color is not just about looks. It is easier to spot in a range bag, a purse or a drawer, and it makes the gun feel like yours.
Why people choose the SCCY CPX-3 Orange Stainless
.380 ACP kicks less than 9mm in a gun this size. That makes it a good fit for smaller hands, newer shooters, or anyone who is sensitive to recoil.
Every CPX-3 is double-action-only and hammer-fired. Each pull of the trigger cocks and drops the hammer, so the pull is long, around 9 pounds, and it is the same every shot. Nothing sits partly cocked, and if a round ever fails to fire you can simply pull the trigger again for a second strike.
There is no manual thumb safety on this one. The long, deliberate trigger pull does that job, the same idea as a double-action revolver, so you just draw and press.
There is a short Picatinny rail up front if you want to add a compact light or laser.
Inside, SCCY uses its Roebuck Quad-Lock barrel system and a polymer frame around an aluminum chassis. The result is a pistol that stays light without feeling flimsy.
Who the CPX-3 is for
Who is it for? Mostly people who want a dependable, small .380 ACP without spending big money. New shooters like how simple it is, and experienced carriers often buy one as a backup or a hot-weather gun.
A few tips once it arrives: get a quality holster that fully covers the trigger guard, run a box or two of practice ammo through it before you carry, and try a couple of defensive loads to see what your pistol likes best. Small guns reward practice, and the CPX-3 is no different.

How buying a handgun online works
We do not ship firearms to your door. Every gun ships to a licensed FFL dealer that you pick at checkout. When it arrives, you fill out the federal Form 4473, the dealer runs your background check, and you take it home. You need to be at least 21 to buy a handgun from a dealer.
Some states and cities limit which models or magazine sizes can be sold. Please check your local laws before you order. If we cannot legally ship to your area, we will cancel the order and refund you in full. See our FFL transfer page for the full details.
